The investigations and inquiries and obsessions at the heart of the New World Lit Lab’s domains have found their way into courses and workshops during my time at Pratt Institute and in a variety of workshops and short seminar-ish sessions in other forums.
The New World Lit Lab can indeed also constitute a course itself, and contained workshops. Designed for undergrads and grads, for those interested across various disciplines, these courses can be adapted to any audience and age-group. A most obvious home for the PRAXIS–theory and practice–of New World Lit Lab is within formal and informal education settings.
The Lab extends an invitation to all and provides a space for exchanges and interventions through other courses and workshops, and other/new educational formats, both to support writers’ ongoing praxis, and to bring new and provocative concepts to students at all levels.
